Custom Tall Matte Black Square Tea Tin
Product Description
Custom Tall Matte Black Square Tea Tin is built around a tall square metal format with a separate slip lid with softly rounded corners. The sample has straight walls, a deep body and a plain dark exterior that gives buyers a broad, uncluttered area for artwork or labelling. The sample is a useful reference for shape and construction only; dimensions, artwork, colour and packing details can be changed for an OEM or ODM project.
This format works well for loose-leaf tea, tea bags, coffee, spices, dry food, candles and premium retail gifts. Rather than forcing the product into a standard pack, we normally start with the item to be packed, the required quantity per tin and the way it will be displayed. From there, our team can check suitable existing molds. Using an existing mold may reduce tooling cost and shorten the sampling stage, while a new mold remains possible when the product, shelf plan or brand shape calls for it.
The body is normally produced in tinplate, with the exact thickness selected according to size, depth and structure. External decoration can use matte black, coloured printing, metallic ink, spot varnish or selective embossing. Artwork can continue across the lid and body, and embossing or debossing can be developed where the shape leaves enough forming space. Interior treatment depends on the contents. A food-contact project, a candle project and a dry promotional kit do not necessarily need the same coating or liner, so these details are confirmed against the real application.
Applications
• loose-leaf tea, tea bags, coffee • Retail packs for seasonal launches and limited collections • Branded gift sets for distributors, supermarkets and specialty stores
What Buyers Should Confirm
Tea and coffee buyers should define the fill weight, pouch dimensions and desired headspace before confirming the body height. If aroma protection is important, we can review an inner bag, secondary closure or project-specific liner rather than assuming the metal tin alone provides a hermetic seal. We also recommend checking how the tin will be filled, sealed, packed into master cartons and opened by the end user. A drawing or physical product sample is more reliable than choosing a size from an outside photograph.

Is custom printing required? | Yes, send AI, PDF or PSD artwork at suitable resolution when available; a design brief is also useful at the quotation stage. Which surface effect is preferred? | Indicate matte, gloss, metallic, pearl, embossing or another effect; we will confirm what is practical on this shape.
