Custom Barrel Shaped Coin Bank Tin
Product Description
This custom tinplate package uses a tall cylindrical barrel profile with formed ribs and a coin-slot top with project-specific base closure. Horizontal ribs give the plain metal body a barrel-like appearance and add visual structure even before printing. Large cylindrical panels can carry campaign messages or saving targets. The photographs are a starting point for structure and proportion; final dimensions should be selected around the real contents, packing method and shipping carton.
The photos show the same sample from different angles so buyers can review the lid, body and print coverage. Any artwork, wording or logo visible on the sample belongs to the original project and is not offered for reuse. YiCheng Industrial develops new orders with the buyer’s own artwork, colours and legal information. We first check suitable existing moulds, which may reduce tooling cost and development time. If no existing mould fits the requirement, a new mould can be evaluated.
Buyers should confirm whether coins need to be removable and how the base should close. Slot size, edge finish, tamper expectations and age-related testing requirements must be reviewed before production. Weight, filling method, shipping route and shelf presentation also affect lid fit, tinplate selection, inserts and export packing.
For food, cosmetic or regulated uses, coating and testing requirements are confirmed for the actual product and destination market. A fitted lid supports handling and repeated use, but the tin should not be described as airtight or as a complete moisture barrier unless the finished packaging system has been tested for that claim.
Applications
- children’s savings tins and educational gifts
- charity fundraising and community campaigns
- bank, insurance and financial promotions
- collectible licensed or private-label programs
- OEM and ODM projects needing custom size, colour and decoration
A sample can be checked with the real contents or a dimensioned dummy before production. This makes product clearance, opening action, insert fit and display arrangement easier to approve.
What Buyers Should Confirm
Send the exact product dimensions, fill weight, orientation and details of any inner bag, tray or wrap. Confirm whether filling is manual or automated, how the customer should open the pack and whether the tin will be reused. These details are more reliable than selecting a size from a photograph.
Supply editable vector artwork with fonts outlined and PMS references where colour matching matters. Fine text, barcodes, warning statements and embossing positions should be checked on the approved proof. Metallic tinplate can change colour appearance, so white ink and print sequence may need adjustment.
